PUBLIC HEARINGS
1.
Special Assessment District No. 2004-01. Conduct a public hearing
to receive citizen comment regarding authorization of Resolution No. 5
for Special Assessment District No. 2004-01, for Michigan Avenue from
Main Street to 132’ South of Cass Street for Street Reconstruction.

Ordinance Amendment. Conduct a public hearing to receive citizen
comment regarding proposed amendments to Chapter 13, Fire Prevention and

Michigan.

1. Set Public Hearing-2004-2005 City
Budget. Set required Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 8 of the City
Charter for May 3, 2004 to receive citizen comment regarding proposed
2004-2005 City Budget.

2. Contract Payment. Authorize
Contract Payment No. 17 to J.R. Heineman & Sons, Inc. in the amount of
$39,049.90 for work completed for the Water Treatment Plant Project in
March 2004.

Fisher Chippewa Redi-Mix for concrete to be used in the 12’ concrete

ITEMS OF BUSINESS
1. Standard Streetlighting Contract
Change. Authorize change in Standard Streetlighting Contract with
Consumers Energy Company to add seven (7) 8,500 High Pressure Sodium
streetlights to be installed at the Woodland Trails Condominium project
and further authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the
appropriate documents.

2. Bid Award. Accept low bid for
Water Treatment Plant fencing. (The bid tab and recommendation will be
presenting at the meeting. The bids are to be opened Monday.
Unusual timing is due to volatility of steel prices.)

3. Rescind Action-Liens for snow
removal. Rescind Council action taken on April 21, 2003 that
established a lien (Invoice No. 473) for snow removal against the

050-113-014-013-00.
