Purchase of Handguns and Holsters

Bid Contract Documents

Sealed bids addressed to the Bid Coordinator’s Office, Municipal Building, 301 West Main Street, Owosso, Michigan 48867, will be received until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2010  for the 2010 Purchase of Hand Guns and Holsters bid. All sealed bids should be marked "2010 Hand Guns and Holsters" in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope.

The proposal shall include Model #22 4^th Generation Glock .40 caliber semi-automatic hand guns with (3) magazines, Model #23 4^th General Glock .40 caliber semi-automatic hand guns with (3) magazines, Safariland Model #6460 duty holsters, Safariland Model #6378 non-uniform holsters.

The bidder must be a licensed federal firearm dealer.

All handguns and the holsters must be delivered at one time, partial shipments not acceptable.

There shall be a period of 30 days for the officers to train and qualify with the new handguns before the trade-ins will be surrendered to the successful bidder.

The City reserves the right to accept any proposal; or to reject any proposal; to waive irregularities in a proposal; or to negotiate if it appears to be in the best interest of the City of Owosso.
