The City of Owosso allows Medical and Adult Use Marihuana Licensed Facilities within the city limits. On July 2, 2018, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 793, to add Chapter 16.5, Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing-Police Power Ordinance and on February 3, 2020, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 803, to add Chapter 16.6, Adult Use Marihuana Establishments Licensing - Police Power Ordinance. The number of establishments allowed, locations and buffer zones are as follows:

Buffer Zone Requirements: At least 200 feet from a school and 100 feet from a residentially zoned property
