The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is responsible for overseeing interpretations of the zoning code, appeals of decisions by staff, the planning commission, and city council, as well as variances. Decisions of the ZBA can only be appealed to circuit court. This body is comprised of five members and two alternates of the city electorate.
