Owosso Community Television - OCTV

Previously the City of Owosso controlled two cable channels which were broadcast over the Charter Communications cable network and were available to all cable subscribers in the City and surrounding communities.  Channel 188 operated as a community bulletin board providing an avenue for non-profit organizations to advertise events and allowing the City to relay time sensitive information to citizens.  Channel 187 carried a mix of locally produced television programs and local government meetings as well as programs originating from other areas of the state and the country.  Unfortunately, both channels ceased functioning as of August 1, 2015 due to funding issues.
