The City Council has scheduled a public hearing for Monday, October 5, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 301 West Main Street to receive citizen comment regarding the proposal to authorize exclusive contracts for residential refuse, garbage, and recycling collection to comply with the 2022 revision to Section 115 of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, requiring 90% of single-family homes to have access to curbside recycling.
