The water main replacement and street reconstruction project on Stewart Street between Shiawassee Street (M-52) and S Washington Street is scheduled to begin the week of June 10, 2024. Pavement and concrete removal along with water main installation will begin the week of June 10th. Storm sewer installation to follow. The street will be closed to through traffic. Through traffic will be detoured via Shiawassee Street (M-52), Gute Street, and Washington Street. Local traffic will be maintained. The street is scheduled to be open around the end of October.
